Our welding and restoration services encompass many different activities throughout the life cycle of a project. We pride ourselves in our welding experience and our competency. Our projects include but are not limited to: large scale bridge building in New York State and Vermont, interstate bridges, the Eisenhower Lock (located on the US/Canadian border), Dams, and Tank Farms.
Our Certifications include: Structural, Bridge, N.Y. D.O.T., and Pipe. Speaking to our restoration welding, two of Nop's Metalworks welders were in the St.Lawrence Seaway working on the Dwight Eisenhower Lock Doors. Each door weighs 300 tons, stands 90 feet tall, and were welded in the deep of winter with temps at 15 degrees below zero . Every weld required x-rays by 2 different companies to pass inspection. Nop's welds passed on the 1st attempt each time. Nop's also works with area high-end construction companies whose customers have unique and discerning tastes. We have a full service facility for precise design and execution, and a portable shop for on-site solutions — no matter what the location or circumstance. No project is too large or small.
