Vermont Integrated Architecture Wins Award

The Vermont Chapter of the American Institute of Architects has recognized Vermont Integrated Architecture (VIA) for it's unique transformation of an old milking parlor into a contemporary writer's studio. The loft moves by using a hand crank made from a salvaged stanchion and farm equipment gears which allows the user to benefit from changing light during the work day.
