Cross Street Bridge

Fall, 2009-Nop’s Metalworks was hired by Kubricky Construction to supply welding and crane service for the Cross Street Bridge, in Middlebury, Vermont. Nop’s Metalworks erected two shoring towers, as shown in the background. These towers temporarily supported 1.6 million pounds for the longest post-tension bridge in the United States. During the second construction phase, NMW cross braced the girders as they were being set. Removing the towers took place during the third phase.
